About

Samson Olusoji Afolabi is a holder of MSc, PGD and BSc in Agricultural Extension and Rural Sociology from Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago-Iwoye, Nigeria between 1993 and 2009. He also possesses Ordinary and Higher Diploma in General Agriculture from the then OAU College of Agriculture, Akure and Ibadan between 1983 and 1989.

He is an alumni of Bio resources Institute of Nigeria.

He has been involved in Rural Agricultural Extension and Farm Management since 1987, as he variously served with Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture and Ogun State Agricultural Development project till 1993 when he joined Olabisi Onabanjo University, College of Agricultural sciences, Teaching and Research Farm where he rose to Chief Agricultural Supt. before he joined Samuel Adegboyega University, Ogwa Edo state in 2011 as Senior Farm Manager.

He is also an alumni of Faith Bible College and Theological Seminary Ota, Nigeria and Redeemed Christian  Bible College Nigeria where he obtained

  1. Th. and PGD Theology and was a part-time bible college tutor between 1993 and 2003

He is a member of Agricultural Society of Nigeria, Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM). Fellow Chattered Institution of Public Health and Environment Management, Nigeria, member Nigerian Conservation Foundation    (NCF), The Gideons International Nigeria among others.

Currently, he is into adaptive research on the role of Agricultural Communications  in  Farm development and Bio –resources

He is presently the Head of Unit, University Farm, Samuel Adegboyega University, Ogwa, Edo State.
